Certification Inspection

$220

We will inspect your pool or spa barrier against the relevant Australian Standard specified by your local council.

If your barrier meets all compliance requirements, we will issue a Certificate of Compliance (Form 23) on the day. This certificate can then be lodged with your local council as required.

If your barrier does not fully comply, you will receive a detailed written report outlining the areas requiring attention, along with clear and practical recommendations to help you bring your barrier up to standard and ensure it is safe and compliant.

Re-inspection

$150

A re-inspection is only required after an initial inspection where the pool or spa barrier was found to be non-compliant and a Notice of Rectification was issued outlining the items that need to be fixed.

You or your contractor can then complete the required rectification works to bring the barrier in line with the relevant Australian Standard. Once all items have been addressed, we will arrange a time to return and re-inspect the barrier to confirm compliance.

We work closely with homeowners during the initial inspection to explain simple fixes and practical solutions. In most cases this allows issues to be resolved quickly and avoids the need for a re-inspection and additional cost. Re-inspections are generally only required where more significant rectification works are necessary.

Returning Client Inspection

$200

This inspection is designed for existing clients of The Pool Compliance Man who completed their previous pool or spa barrier inspection with us four years ago and are now due for their next council-required compliance certification.

Because we have previously inspected your pool or spa barrier, we already have records of your earlier inspection and the applicable compliance requirements. During the renewal inspection, we will assess your barrier against the current relevant Australian Standard and council requirements to ensure it remains safe and compliant.

If your barrier meets all compliance requirements, we will issue a Certificate of Compliance (Form 23) for you to lodge with your local council.

If any items require attention, we will provide a clear written summary outlining what needs to be rectified, along with practical advice to help you bring the barrier back into compliance as quickly and easily as possible.

Booking your renewal inspection ensures your pool or spa barrier continues to meet safety standards and keeps your property compliant with Victorian regulations.
